The story revolves around the everyday life of four high school girls: the flighty Run, the reckless Tooru, the timid Yuuko, and the level-headed Nagi.
A Channel is a really cute series with each distinct character, and I enjoyed it very much. Of course, I had already read the manga that this series was adapted for and was wondering how they would adapt this, but it seems that I needn’t worry and it hasn’t let down my expectations at all. Of course, it has been compared to K-on!, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves here since this has a different premise other than having four high school girls doing everyday things. I’ve read the manga, and it was really funny and enjoyable, so if you get a chance, check it out!
From the right to the left, we have Tooru, Run, Yuuko, and Nagi. Nagi is by far the most favorite of mine since she’s quite sly and has a certain air about herself. I mean, how can you not like this sly grin of Nagi?
Anyway, moving onto the show. The opening was very nice with great animations and a good song, and I don’t know about the ending yet so far but it sounds decent. The characters are voiced nicely, and the backgrounds have been impressive. The antics of the characters are cute and they’re fun to see (Tooru bullying Yuuko, Run attempting to cut hard candy in half, and Nagi mimicking a conversation between Run and the male classmates about Yuuko’s sizes)! This is one series that I will definitely be following!
