Chronological Record #2 ~ Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving yuri!

“Chronological Record” is just another term for journal, but I like the sound of this term, so we’ll just go with this for all journal entries from now on. No deep thinking or drawing connections here. Just regular ol’ journalistic entries that lists out my thoughts. Now why did I call this post a “chronological record”, you ask? Well, I’m not just going to bid you all a Happy Thanksgiving and then just leave it at that; it’s to announce some things about my blog and get out some thoughts on the process of writing. Of course, I will also shout out some thanks to some people whom I have had the pleasure of meeting this year!

The iDOLM@STER 19 ~ Kaguya-hime?

Shijou Takane!

Episode 19, this time, delves more into the personality of one of my top favorite characters, Shijou Takane. I enjoyed this episode immensely, and I was very pleased to note so many references from Shijou Takane’s characteristics and comments to The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter, more specifically, Kaguya-hime. So, as a lover of Japanese folk tales, I was compelled to do an episodic post for this particular episode!

Mawaru Penguindrum 17-18 ~ A Grand Sorrowful Spectacle…

Mawaru Penguindrum artWell, the past weekend and week ended up being extremely busy for me and I didn’t manage to come up with a single post. So here, I shall try to catch up on episode 17 & 18 of Mawaru Penguindrum. It was certainly a grand, varied build-up with a sorrowful end that has the Takakura family and Ringo bonding.
